Tuesday on Lubbock's First News, Gerald Dolter, Artistic Director of Lubbock Moonlight Musical, gave details on the possible shows to be held this summer.

The shows include Oliver and South Pacific. In South Pacific, Dolter said, "we will take people back to [the] 1940s." He said the last show for the summer will be Meet Me in St. Louis or The Wizard of Oz. He hopes to announce the decision within the next month.

Dolter talked about his appreciation for the theater and performance resources that can be shared in Lubbock. "There is all kinds of talent in this town."

Auditions for the summer performances will be held Friday January 24 from 6 pm to 9 pm. This is a correction from the website. The start time for Friday's audition is 6 pm, not 6 am. Auditions will also be held on January 25 from 10 am to 7 pm.

More information can be found on the Lubbock Moonlight Musical website.
