Wine Lovers Get Ready – Second Annual ‘Lubbock Uncorked’ Happens In April [INTERVIEW]

On Friday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Christye Weld from the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk about the second annual Lubbock Uncorked event coming in April.

The 2017 Lubbock Uncorked takes place from 4:00 - 9:00 PM on Friday, April 28th, 2017 at the American Wind Power Center located at 1701 Canyon Lake Drive in Lubbock. Featured will be wines from many of our fantastic local wineries as well as many others from around Texas. The event will also include food trucks and live music.

While talking about the booming wine industry on the South Plains, Weld said,

It's kind of like California in the 1970s, we're going to be a grape growing destination we hope, and winery destination as well.
