Mayor Tom Martin Says He’s Willing to Look At Councilman Todd Klein’s Proposal to Have Four Evening Council Meetings Each Year
On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Mayor Tom Martin commented on Councilman Todd Klein’s proposal to schedule evening council meetings four times a year.
“I’m willing to look at it. I’m not in favor of all the meetings being at night.”
The mayor was also defended his opposition to showing meetings of LP&L’s Electric Utility Board on the city’s cable channel.
“The board voted not to adopt that idea. That was why I voted not to. I respect their wishes."
