Tis the Season for Spooks

It's October and that means for half of you it's spooky time and the other half might just disregard everything and jump right into Christmas. For those that give the respect to Halloween then you might be giving out candy this year for the holiday and we found the most popular candy in Texas. If you are ready for Christmas then hold your horses or you could visit one Airbnb that has those sleigh bells already ringing. The Airbnb, located in Lubbock, just screams cozy winter wonderland but I'll stick to my spooky season through November 2nd.

Tortoise and the Little Red Hen

I'm very much a chicken tender and love the big birds but one Lubbock farm is hosting a movie night to enjoy with the cluckers. This is the third time the Alcove Farms are hosting a movie night and their movie choice this year just fits perfectly. Now if this is a bit fast paced for you then you might hear the story of a missing tortoise that flew the coop. One local resident lost their tortoise and was asking the community for their help, I'm not sure if they found the tortoise but the bigger question is where could it be headed?

What's New?

If you haven't been watching the news then you might have missed the new entertainment complex coming to Lubbock in 2025. Schulman's will be coming and everyone is excited to hear the all that it has to offer to increase the fun that you can have in Lubbock. If food is more your style then McDonald's just released two of their newest dipping sauces that seem a bit out of the ordinary but if you are a foodie then you have to give them a try.
