Nowadays, video cameras have become a common feature on most cell phones. People use them all the time, recording things from cute pet tricks and stupid stunts, to those once-in-a-lifetime moments like the game-winning touchdown or a freak act of nature. They can also be useful as incriminating evidence when your mother-in-law starts firing a gun at you.

In Florida, a man used the video camera on iPhone to record his mother-in-law shooting at him. The man said he suspected something bad was going to happen when he visited his mother-in-law's house, so he had his iPhone recording as he approached the house. Sure enough, the mother-in-law pulled a gun on him and shot him twice. Even though he was wounded, the man still managed to wrestle the gun away from his mother-in-law and drive off calling 9-1-1.

The mother-in-law also called 9-1-1, claiming that she was the one being shot at. But, as she found out,  it's pretty hard to argue when you've got live video of someone firing a gun at you.
