Lubbock Sheriff’s Deputies Searching For Escaped Inmate
Lubbock County Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for an escaped inmate.
Randy Allen Williams escaped from a work detail in a Lubbock County fleet services Ford pickup.
Sheriff’s deputies say that Williams created a diversion by lighting a fire in the County garage in downtown Lubbock Tuesday morning.
The 49-year-old Williams has been charged with a number of offenses, including two counts of theft between $50 and $500, DWI, and possession of a controlled substance.
Williams was considered a low-risk offender.
He has abandoned the County fleet truck and is no longer wearing the orange inmate attire.
Williams is described as a white male, standing 5’11” tall, and weighing around 185 pounds.
