Lubbock Friends of the Library will hold their annual half-price sale next weekend.

Everyone is invited out to the Mahon Library Friday, February 6, and Saturday, February 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All books will be marked down by 50 percent; only cash or checks will be accepted.

According to the City of Lubbock’s website, the Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization devoted to raising funding for Lubbock’s public libraries.

Individuals and businesses alike can support the organization by purchasing a membership which has benefits including early admittance to annual book sales; find the form online.

Books can also be purchased from the Lubbock Friends of the Library online via the third-party marketplace website, Abebooks.com.
