Lubbock City Council to Discuss Prohibiting Citizens From Carrying Guns at City Council Meetings
The Lubbock City Council will discuss prohibiting citizens with concealed handgun licenses from carrying during council meetings.
According to two sources, Councilwoman Latrelle Joy is seeking the ban on firearms during council meetings and requested the item be placed on the agenda to be debated on Thursday, December 17.
Currently, citizens with a CHL are allowed to carry at City Hall and during council meetings.
