The Lubbock Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating the suspect involved in a hit and run crash back on May 6th, 2020.

Officers have determined that a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Zenith Avenue near East 1st Place and turned westbound onto Auburn Street at around 3:15 p.m. The suspect then struck 52-year-old Lydia Lopez, who was in a motorized wheel chair. The driver failed to stop and render aid.

Lopez was transported to University Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.

Those who may have witnessed this incident or has information relating to it are encouraged to call Crime Line at 741-1000. Callers may be eligible for a $500 cash reward.
