Lake Ridge Ladies to Host Auction Fundraiser [Audio]

Thursday on Lubbock's First News, Gayle Saunders with the Lake Ridge Ladies gave details on their upcoming silent auction fundraiser.

The Lake Ridge Ladies will be hosting their first fundraiser as an auction and bake sale of homemade items that will take place Thursday November 7 from 3 pm to 7 pm. It will be hosted at the Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers funeral home and will be open to the public.

Saunders described the group: "We come together to love and support each other and to learn to live a life that is not familiar to us, a life without our spouse." The group does community involvement, supporting various community service programs. They also travel together and join for local events. The group is composed of women of all ages that have come together for support and progress.
