Wednesday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, Lubbock City Councilman Juan Chadis joined Dave and Matt to talk about the Lubbock County Medical Examiner, the homeless population problem, Lubbock Cleanup, the Lubbock Police Chief, another location of a police substation, and more.

The Lubbock Police Chief Greg Stevens will have his last day at the end of the month of May, and so the Lubbock City Council has approved an interim chief of police in his place. Chadis explained that Chief Stevens will be moving to Rockport, and had this to say,

"He's very excited about it. We're happy for him. He will definitely be missed. He's a great representative, great ambassador for the city of Lubbock, great ambassador for the police department. He's done an excellent job."
