The parking set aside for ADA, or the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, will be relocated from the B-5 parking lot, located off of 10th Street south of University Medical Center, north of the Health Sciences Center in parking lots between 4th and 5th Streets.

Texas Tech has also announced that they will now begin charging all riders in the ADA lots $5. However, the university announced ADA riders can still use regular Citibus routes or take the ADA shuttle which will stop ‘near’ the ADA lot. There was no official word how near the ADA shuttle would drop passengers off.

Officials with Texas Tech University’s Athletics Department said the changed were being made to improve safety, accessibility and overall speed of transportation services.

The changes will take effect during the Saturday, September 13, Texas Tech game versus Arkansas.
