A Frenship High School student was arrested Tuesday, after reportedly threatening to bring a firearm onto the school campus.

School officials received a tip that 19-year-old Aaron C. Owens was planning to bring the firearm onto the Frenship High School campus, and Frenship ISD police investigated.

Owens was arrested for threatening to exhibit a firearm on the campus and is now free on bail. Frenship ISD said that no firearms were brought onto the campus by Owens, and the students were not in any danger.
