Early Registration For Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Ends Monday

Early team registration for the Lubbock-area Susan G. Komen for the Cure race ends soon.

Early team registration for the October 5^th, 2013 Race for the Cure ends on Monday, September 16^th.

Until then, team members can register for $25. Beginning on Tuesday, September 17^th, late team registration will be $30.

Ten members are needed to make a team.

Those interested in participating can register at www.komenlubbock.org.

Individual registration is $30 for adults, $25 for team members, $20 for youth ages 13-18, and $15 for children ages 12 and younger. Breast cancer survivors can register for $20 and will receive a pink Survivor t-shirt, pink cap, and access to the pre-race breakfast at the “Think Pink” café.

Race day registration is $35, and the first 8,000 participants will receive a race t-shirt and a gift.

Registration on race day will open at 7:30 a.m. inside the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, and opening ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m.
