You may have noticed that at the end of the day we are getting less sunlight now than we were about a month ago. It seems like a lot of people have and they have taken to social media to ask two questions. 1. When does Texas "Fall Back" and see the end of Daylight Saving Time? And 2. Didn't the Texas Legislature pass a bill banning the time change in Texas?

When Does Daylight Saving Time End In Texas And We "Fall Back"?

Daylight Saving Time began on March 12 and will end on November 5th at 2 a.m. That is when you will have to set your clock back one hour. Or at least set your clocks back an hour before you go to sleep.

The Texas House earlier this year voted 138-5 to stay on Daylight Saving Time moving forward. House Bill 1422 from Rep. Will Metcalf would have ended the whole "springing forward" and "falling back". Sadly, the bill did not make it to the Texas Senate Floor for a vote and even if it would have, it wouldn't have mattered. The reason? Congress would have to approve of Texas ending the time change according to the Texas Tribune.
