Closures Scheduled for Intersection of Spur 327 and Milwaukee Avenue

TxDOT will be closing a West Lubbock intersection for two nights to continue Phase 5 work on the Marsha Sharp Freeway.

The intersection of Spur 327 at Milwaukee Avenue will be closed Sunday night and Monday night for construction work. Crews will place concrete beams for the new Spur 327 bridge during the closures.

The Sunday night closure will begin in the late afternoon at 4p and continue through Monday morning to 6:30a. The Monday closure will start at 6p and conclude Tuesday morning at 6:30a.

During both nights of closures there will be various detours in effect for intersection of Spur 327 at Milwaukee Avenue and the stretch of the Marsha Sharp Freeway north of Spur 327.  TxDOT crews will have signs and message boards directing traffic in the construction area during the closures.
