On the Friday edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Chad looked ahead to the new year and offered a few of his predictions for 2014.

Starting on the local level, Chad predicted the the city council would move even further to the left, and that the council would likely get rid of last minute sign-ups for citizen comments at city council meetings, following the council's decision to stop airing citizen comments over Channel 2. Some of the actions he anticipates the council taking also include a push for higher taxes, and more emphases on big government.

Looking ahead at Election 2014, Chad predicted that the 19th Congressional district race in particular would be a "circus," and that incumbent candidate Randy Neugebauer would most likely win that race. He also anticipates that the Democrats will continue to hold control of the Senate, and that congressional Republicans will cave in on major issues like immigration and the minimum wage.

Producer Ariel offered a few of her own predictions as well. She predicted that more bad news would be revealed about Obamacare, and that there would be some sort so scandal involving either the Obama administration or the Democratic party. But, she added that voters would most likely forget about both instances by the time mid-term elections began.
