The 17th Annual Building Strong Families conference takes place Thursday in Lubbock. The all-day conference runs from 7:15a-3p at the Lubbock Civic Center and features discussions on a variety of topics. If you haven't pre-registered for the conference, you can register at the door for $20.

Jeremy Hardy (pictured) appeared on KFYO's Lubbock's First News with Tom Collins and Laura Mac, yesterday to discuss the conference. Hardy said there will also be breakout sessions at the conference, in addition to the three keynote speakers.

The keynote speakers are: Reggie Cajayon discussing Digital Wellness, Justin Mazzeo discussing the effects of parents and drugs and Eric Cupp, Ph.D will talk about children and bullying.
