A search has been underway in Oklahoma for days for the missing mother of a Texas Tech student. 52-year-old Teresa Speir was last seen by her children when she left on January 7th for an evening work shift at a convenience store in Cotton County Oklahoma.

Tech student Amanda McCombs had gone home for winter break, but her mother vanished just before the daughter’s planned return to Lubbock for college.  Cotton County deputies and Oklahoma state troopers have searched thousands of acres over the past week for clues in the mother’s disappearance.  Speir's vehicle was found at her home, and when law enforcement authorities searched Speir's house, the scene there concerned them about her welfare. Some personal items were found abandoned nearby.

If you have any information on Teresa, contact local authorities immediately. She has ties in Lubbock, and would not likely disappear without notifying her family first.
