During Ag Awareness Week, Lubbock's First News was joined by Christine Casanova, an instructor of Landscape Architecture at Texas Tech University.

"What we focus on around here is water conservation," said Casanova. "In all of the agricultural realm in terms of science and study, a lot of it is focused on how to conserve water."

Water conservation is important, especially in low rainfall areas.
