On Tuesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Shannon Ramos from the Alzheimer's Association and elder law attorney Nathan Ziegler talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about an upcoming seminar for caregivers of people with Alzheimer's disease.

The Alzheimer's Association , along with Nathan Ziegler and Associates, will be hosting the "Answers for Alzheimer's" seminar this weekend. The seminar will take place Saturday, March 2nd from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in the Academic Classroom Building, room #10. Quail Ridge will be offering senior care for patients suffering from Alzheimer's, so that their caregivers can attend.

The seminar will cover a number of topics related to Alzheimer's and caring for people with Alzheimer's, such as how to deal behavioral problems, current Alzheimer's research and Q & A session. Nathan Ziegler will also be speaking about the financial issues in caring for people with Alzheimer's, and said that the cost of caring for Alzheimer's patients can sometimes run as high as $4500 a month.
