A Lubbock woman was arrested after it's said she tried to fight a homeowner after being accused of stealing packages.

KAMC News reports that a delivery driver had made the homeowner aware of someone who was apparently trying to steal their packages. This was in the 4400 block of 27th Street on Tuesday, November 29th. The homeowner later told the suspect, 37-year-old Desiree Morales, that he was going to call the police.

Morales responded by stepping inside of the home and saying that she would "beat his a**." She then allegedly got into a position with her fists up as if she was ready to fight. Morales was later chased off the property by the homeowner.

Police responded to the scene and watched video taken from a doorbell camera that depicted Morales and the homeowner exchanging punches and kicks.

Morales was later arrested and charged with Burglary of a Habitation. She remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center with bond set at $20,000.
