Adoption Covenant is an adoption service that offers a number of program for families looking to adopt, and also for women looking to place their children up for adoption. The organization recently received the “Angel of Adoption” congressional award for their advocacy of adoption.
Condra said that there is a lot of negative stigma about women who put their children up for adoption. According to her, these are brave and caring women who truly love their children and want them to have a better life than they can provide. Condra adds that television has also made adoption seem more difficult than it actually is.
