A man suspected of stealing merchandise from a local 7-Eleven store also threatened an employee with a rock, according to Lubbock Police.

The Lubbock Police Department posted an image of the robbery suspect on their Facebook page Wednesday morning (Sept. 13).

According to police, the man entered the 7-Eleven store located at 2608 Avenue Q on Tuesday, August 8. While attempting to steal some merchandise from the store, the suspect was confronted by an employee. During that confrontation, the suspect allegedly threatened to hit the employee with a rock before fleeing the store.

No one was injured during the robbery. The suspect has not been apprehended.

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect's identity or location to call the Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.
