The 15th Annual South Plains College Scholarship Gala will take place later this month.

The gala will offer live and silent auctions, as the group attempts to raise more than $100,000 overall for SPC scholarships.

Auction committee member Julie Gerstenberger says that the silent auction will feature autographed books, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and original art. New and unique items featured will be a pellet grill, a silver bar, a Bose Wave music system, and an Apple TV device.

The live auction will feature a Texas Motor Speedway VIP package for the Texas 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race, a Bon Jovi concert package, Texas Rangers baseball package, a helicopter hog hunt, and number 10 in the SPC Collector Series of Bowie knives, hand-crafted by Darrel Raines.

The Scholarship Gala will take place February 23rd in the Physical Education complex on the South Plains College Levelland campus. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
