The third party candidate. It seems like in every Presidential election someone is thinking about running as a third party candidate. In the 1992 election, Ross Perot became the most successful third party candidate by receiving 18.9% of the popular vote. That was 1992, what about today? Is there a candidate that could do better than Perot? Is there a candidate that could actually win? According to USNews.com,  39% of respondents said they would want Hillary Clinton to head a third party. 20% said Mike Huckabee. Of course, that doesn't mean that they would actually win.

So many Republicans and Democrats seem unhappy about their candidate. For Republicans, whoever is leading the primary battle seems to become the next big disappointment. If you are unhappy with who the Republicans select and unhappy with President Obama, could you see yourself voting for a third party candidate?
