President Trump at the White House today announced that his administration would take steps to curb gun violence in America after two mass shootings, including one in El Paso, Texas, over the weekend. The president discussed mental health and using more tools to stop mass shootings.

The president also floated the idea of a federal Red Flag law. Red Flag laws are designed to keep guns out of the hands of potentially dangerous individuals. Red Flag laws would give a court the ability to remove guns from someone's possession if they are deemed dangerous.

Some states already have Red Flag laws. The idea was floated by Governor Greg Abbott before the legislative session this year but was declared dead before the session ever started.

Would you support such a law?
