The Biden Administration on Tuesday announced that they are going to take the fight to the streets of America when it comes to getting people vaccinated. After falling short of its goal to vaccinate 70% of adults by Independence day, the administration now wants to focus more resources on getting people vaccinated against COVID-19.

The new plan? According to the President, is to go door to door telling people how great the vaccine is and how badly the people need it. According to Yahoo News, the President is ready to redouble its efforts to get rid of doubts surrounding the vaccine.

“We are continuing to wind down the mass vaccination sites that did so much in the spring. … Now, we need to go to community by community, neighborhood by neighborhood, and oftentimes door to door, literally knocking on doors, to get help for the remaining people protected from the virus,” President Joe Biden said Tuesday.

The Biden administration will redouble its efforts to chip away at doubt about the vaccines by partnering with about 42,000 local pharmacies and primary care physicians’ offices, where people feel most comfortable receiving medical advice. The administration will also boost access to the shots at pediatricians’ offices for children 12 to 15 needing physical exams before returning to school in the fall.

So most likely, this won't be door to door all over the United States. That would be almost impossible. But even if it wasn't, is it really a good idea? Are those that are completely opposed to the vaccine going to change their mind because a doctor, nurse, or Democrat operative told them to? Probably not.

And that's if you could get them to open their door in the first place. Many Americans aren't going to open their doors for anyone, especially a stranger who wants to discuss with them all the good things about getting vaccinated.

Instead, the administration should stop sending mixed messages. Show the people that the vaccine works by not wearing masks if you are in the administration and vaccinated.

Show people the science works. There has been lots of talking already. Now people want to see the results.
