Poll: Will You Be Gathering With Family This Thanksgiving?
It's the week of Thanksgiving, and millions of Americans will be gathering together in homes across the nation. There will also be many Americans who won't see family this Thanksgiving due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The CDC and elected officials across the United States have warned Americans not to travel this Thanksgiving and they have warned against having large family get togethers where multiple households gather under one roof.
The CDC has told Americans that if you must gather together, sit outside if possible, wear a mask, and bring your own food, plates, and utensils. But how many people are really listening to the advice put out by the CDC?
Some states have even gone so far as to limit how many people can be under one roof at a time.
Lubbock has seen a rise in coronavirus cases this month. City officials have urged citizens to be smart this Thanksgiving, with at least one member of the Lubbock City Council discouraging people from traveling to Lubbock because the city is a hotspot for the pandemic.
Having said all that, it's still Thanksgiving, and millions of Americans are expected to celebrate the holiday with friends and family.
Do you plan on gathering with family this Thanksgiving as you have in past years? Or will this be a toned-down Thanksgiving with fewer people in attendance? Let us know in the poll below.
