Are you interested in experiencing an incredible evening of fine arts and one-of-a-kind artistic displays? Then you don't want to miss the West Texas Watercolor Society's 4th Annual Signature Show!

The Buddy Holly Center is inviting you, the public, to this reception for a chance to enjoy the final day of exhibition. Here are the details you need to know.

Lubbock's Signature Show: When and Where?

On Sunday, September 20, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the Buddy Holly Center invites any interested parties to their Fine Arts Gallery to celebrate our immense local artistic talent.

This reception will provide an opportunity to visit with the artists as they show off their prized work, "showcasing the versatility of the medium through a range of subjects, styles, and artistic approaches," according to the City of Lubbock website.

Each exhibit is juried by an honorary guest, and this year, that honor goes to nationally recognized watercolor artist Janet Rogers. With four decades of experience with award-winning paintings and instruction, Rogers has led demonstrations and workshops all throughout the U.S. and even in Europe.

What Is the West Texas Watercolor Society?

The Society has been operating these past 64 years under their core mission: to build community and bring Lubbock together over the experience and beauty of watercolor art.
