Texas Tech women’s golf is preparing to host this year’s Red Raider Invitational for the fourth year in a row! Keep September 22 and 23 in your calendar, and remember that admission and parking are free at the Rawls Course at Texas Tech (3720 4th Street).

Oh, also who doesn’t like free food? Fans who attend the Invitational can enjoy a free hot dog during the lunch hour on Tuesday, the 22nd.

Info On the 2026 Red Raider Invitational

For anyone who hasn’t been, the Red Raider Invitational consists of three separate rounds of golf stretched over two days here in Lubbock featuring a total of 36 holes.

This year, the tournament will start with two rounds on September 22 and one round on September 23. The first round begins at 8:30 a.m. each day. Fans can expect the first day to end around 6 p.m. and the second day to end around 1 p.m.

Both days will start with all groups playing simultaneously from different holes on the course rather than one group at a time. Fun fact: This is called a ‘shotgun start’ in golf.

Oh, and there will be a practice round on Monday, September 21, for all teams.

A total of 12 schools will be playing at the Red Raider Invitational, including Abilene Christian, BYU, Prairie View A&M, Sam Houston, and UT Arlington.
