Victim Killed in Accident near Shallowater Identified

The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the victim of a pedestrian accident that occurred on US Highway 84 near Shallowater.

KAMC News reports that 27-year-old Luis Rosales was walking in the lanes of traffic at around 9 p.m. Sunday night. It was then when he was struck by a vehicle.

Rosales was taken from the scene to University Medical Center where he later died.

No charges have been filed and the incident is still under investigation.
