Vance Ginn Reports On Texas Legislature's Tax Relief Efforts

Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Vance Ginn, director of the Center for Economic Prosperity and senior economist at the Texas Public Policy Foundation joined the program to talk about the latest news from the 86th Texas legislative session.

Ginn and Hasty discussed the ongoing debates and negotiations to bring real tax relief to Texas property owners, and the possibility of a state sales tax increase being used to level the budget while assisting those taxpayers. Ginn said, "The question is, which one is going to provide the least burden in the process, and the economic literature is pretty clear on that, it's the sales tax."
