Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Tim Schmidt, President & Founder of the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) joined Chad to talk about recent legislation, the National Reciprocity Bill introduced by Senator John Cornyn which requires all states to recognize and respect weapons carry licenses & permits issued by other states.

Hasty asked Schmidt if this legislation might be the first step leading to the federal government standardizing and controlling all weapons licensing requirements, processing and issuance.

Schmidt explained, and answered, "I don't believe these bills are taking a step down that slippery slope."

The USCCA is an organization based on self defense being a natural-born right, and provides education, training, as well as legal and financial protection against criminal and civil charges if you’re ever forced to defend your life or the lives of your loved ones with a firearm.

More information is available the USCCA website, or by calling 877-677-1919.
