Two Separate Car Crashes in Lubbock Leave Multiple Injured

Lubbock Police responded to 2 separate car crashes on Tuesday, July 28th at 2 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. that left multiple injured.
The crash at 2 a.m. happened near 82nd Street and Quaker Avenue. Police say a black car struck an electrical pole after veering off the road. One person suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
The second crash happened on North Interstate 27 near New Deal. Lubbock Police responded at around 2:15 p.m. for reports of a rollover. KAMC News reports that the Jaws of Life were used at the scene, but it wasn't made clear how the accident occurred, how many were injured, or the extent of injuries.
