Two Robberies With Shots Fired Happened the Same Afternoon in Lubbock
On Monday, August 30th, 2021, Lubbock Police were alerted to two separate incidents involving a robbery and shots fired.
KAMC News reports that the first call came in at around 2:10 p.m. in the afternoon. The only information that was provided at the time was that shots were fired in the 4600 block of 34th Street.
It's said that two black men were seen running from the scene, but no other details were given in regards to their descriptions.
Then, just over an hour later at 3:30 p.m., deputies with the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office responded to another report of shots fired and a robbery. This time, the call came from the Prize City Game Room, which is located in the 6300 block of Slaton Highway.
So far, there hasn't been any report of injuries in either case. It also hasn't been said by police whether or not these two cases are linked in any way.
