Texas Tech gets two names on the College Baseball All-American teams with Sophomores Josh Jung and Grant Little keep raking in honors. Jung got 2nd team honors while Little was tabbed as a 3rd team member.

It's the second year in a row the Red Raiders have had two players announced as CBN All-Americans. Last year Hunter Hargrove and Stephen Gingery were honored.

Texas Tech has had 20 All-America honorees from Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.

Jung dominated in Big 12 play leading the conference in five offensive categories in the regular season including hits, RBI and runs scored. He was also fifth in the nation in RBI. Jung played an exceptional 3rd base as well and hit for the cycle this year.

Little was also a stat leader in the Big 12 trailing only Josh Jung in several categories and was in the top-10 in every offensive category except for triples, home runs and stolen bases. On top of making Sportscenter top-10 caliber plays in left field, Little had a nine-RBI performance hitting two home runs, including a grand slam against Kansas State.

Both Jung and Little rank in the top-50 nationally in at least six

offensive categories.

The Red Raiders open the NCAA Lubbock Regional on Friday, June 1, against New Mexico State at 1 p.m. at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
