Lubbock knows and loves their local breweries, but now other people will as well. Two Docs Brewing Co. went out to the 2022 Texas Craft Brewers Cup in Austin, Texas and won two silver medals.

The competition happened on February 12th, 2022 and featured 27 different categories with more than 150 different beer styles. Two Docs won in the American & European Sour for their Chilton Gose that everyone in Lubbock loves. After all, the Chilton is a Lubbock staple.

The other silver medal Two Docs won was in the Barley wine & Strong Ale category for their Prairie Dog Porter. There were 37 different judges and 755 anonymized entries from 131 different breweries from the state of Texas.

"We are very proud of winning two medals, especially considering the high level of competition. I was honored to be able to compete with some of the most established breweries in the state, people I’ve respected for a very long time," said Jason Watkins, Head Brewer/Co-Owner at Two Docs Brewing Co.

If you've never been to Two Docs, you can check them out in Downtown Lubbock at 502 Texas Ave. They're always hosting amazing events. They are also sold at a lot of Lubbock restaurants and locations. You can get more information at their official website. You can also learn more about the competition on Texas Craft Brewers Guild's Facebook page.

Congrats again, y'all!
