On the Wednesday edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Chad talked about the actions President Donald Trump is talking to seal off the U.S. border with Mexico and to implement a much more cautious approach to approving immigrants' entry into the United States.

As of Wednesday morning (January 25, 2017) Trump is being expected to issue executive orders to begin closing the border, and restricting federal funds to cities that have declared that they will ignore federal law and continue "sanctuary city" policies for illegal immigrants.

In the orders, Trump will also order the suspension of entry into the U.S. by people from terrorist "hot-spots", including those from Iraq, Iran, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, and Libya.

About that suspensions, Hasty said,

At least naming these areas that are terror hot-spots, it's a good thing. These steps that Trump is taking today are steps that will help ensure security in the United States. Again, no one has a right to be here from outside nations. You don't have a right to be here. We want to take good people. Good people who want to be Americans. But there are some people who want to sneak in, some people who want to get in and overstay a visa, who want to carry out attacks, who want to harm this country. And all Trump is doing is saying, 'No, we're going to put a stop to that.'
