Deputy Secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Eric Hargan, joined The Chad Hasty Show on Tuesday to discuss the coronavirus pandemic and steps the federal government has taken to increase testing.

Hargan told KFYO that over 2 1/2 million tests have been completed in the United States, "by far the largest number done by any country". Hargan told KFYO that 150,000 tests are being done "each day, and we expect that number to rise pretty quickly".

Hargan also discussed the relationship between the federal government and private businesses that have helped increase testing throughout the nation.
