Get ready for pancakes, sausage, bacon, and plenty of syrup! The largest pancake festival in the world is coming back for its 72nd year and it's going to be bigger than ever before.

The 72nd Annual Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Festival will take place on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 from 7am to 8:00pm. The event will take place at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. Tickets will be $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Kids under the age of 4 will eat free.

The pancake festival is "all you can eat" which means a lot of food is ordered just to make sure everyone who attends gets to eat as much as they want. How much food does it take to run the largest pancake festival in the world? According to the Lubbock Lions Club, the pancake mix alone is 6,000 pounds.

The Lubbock Lions Club still hold the world record for the most pancakes served in an eight-hour period by a nonprofit.
