On Saturday beginning early in the morning and lasting until Saturday night, thousands of people from Lubbock and the surrounding area will descend on the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

Why? To stuff their faces with pancakes and sausage during the 71st Annual Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Festival. On Saturday, February 18th from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. the Lions Club will be hosting their all you can eat fundraiser. Tickets cost $10 in advance and $12 at the door. For that, you can each as many pancakes and sausage as you want.

And don't worry, they won't run out. According to a press release, the Pancake Festival brings in six thousand pounds of pancake mix along with 41,000 ounces of syrup, 80,000 sausage links and 23,000 slices of bacon. You can buy extra tokens for bacon, soda, and more.

Remember, this is a fundraiser and and the money raised stays here in Lubbock and helps out so many organizations locally.

Because everyone likes Pancakes!!!
