The City of Lubbock Wants You To Join A City Board
After the 2020 Election I received many texts and emails from listeners asking what they can do to get more involved in the issues that impact us all. I had a simple answer for many, get involved.
Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Mary Gerlach joined the show to discuss how citizens in Lubbock can join different boards and commissions. These are boards and commissions that have influence over different areas of the City of Lubbock. Gerlach currently is on the board that helps appoint citizens to the different boards.
You can see which boards and commissions currently have openings and apply for any board or commission you want by visiting the City of Lubbock's website.
Getting on a board or commission is a great way of learning different parts of the City and having some influence over the decisions that are made here. It's our City, let's run it.
