Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, the Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, as well as several articles on his website.

This week Reynolds was driving the Mini Cooper Countryman, a car based on the BMW X1 Chassis. Jerry said that the car has great handling, lots of room inside, and is fun to drive around.

"This is a 3 cylinder, but it does have twin turbos, so when you really need the power, this little thing will get up and go. It's very very quick from a dead stop."

Something Jerry was not impressed with, however, was the specific version he drove, being a hybrid. Reynolds explained that as a hybrid, it's very behind the times. He says that it increases the price, and only has 12 miles of electric range. "As a hybrid it's a flop. Just the regular 3 cylinder would be fine," Jerry said. The MSRP is set at $45,000, with $5,500 of that being for the hybrid version.

The Car Pro also talked about some new articles from his website carprousa.com, including a review of the Nissan Leaf, a story on Tax Code 179, a review of his car from last week, how to safely transport your holiday food, and Ford's spending on autonomous cars.
