Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the all-new 2021 Chevy Tahoe Z71, a car that Jerry was extremely impressed with. Reynolds was driving the 4 wheel drive version of the car, and cited several big changes that Chevy made to make it much nicer than previous models. Chevy made changes to the rear suspension to make it independent, which Jerry says totally changes the ride and handling of the car, and allows the back to be completely flat which was previously impossible. Other changes to the car have to do with the interior, such as the 3rd row seating, which Jerry says is the roomiest 3rd row seats he has ever seen, allowing 2 adults to sit in the back very comfortably. Jerry said,

I'll tell you what, they hit a home run with this one, guys.

The Chevy Tahoe Z71 has multiple engine options, including a 5.3 liter V8 engine, and a 6.2 liter engine, and in the future will even have a diesel option. The car also has plenty of cargo room, has 2 12.6 inch screens on the back of the front seats that the 2nd and 3rd row seats can see, and comes loaded with everything you can put on it, with the exception of a panoramic moonroof. Finally, Jerry said that he doesn't get totally enamored with vehicles anymore, but that, "this Tahoe is really something special." The car has a window sticker price of $68,900.
