Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, fuel gauge indicators, the ongoing chip shortage, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2021 Jaguar F-Pace SUV, a car that came out in 2015 and has not seen many changes until 2021 when it was completely redone. Reynolds started the discussion by explaining that this model is inherently nicer than before, with a great new interior, redone electronics, and a more intuitive design than previously, with a regular shifter put in where before there was a rotary gear shifter. The car also has a powerful 335 horse engine with both a turbo charger and a super charger that gets 25 miles to the gallon on the highway, and 22 in town. Jerry said,

The vehicle itself is just a joy to drive. These things have always driven great, and this one is no exception.

Reynolds went on to explain that the car also has lots of cargo room, a 2nd row that is a little bit tight, but has good headroom, good handling, a good sound system, and a start/stop system. The 2021 Jaguar has a price of $73,000 which Jerry says falls in line with similar vehicles.

The Car Pro also talked about several stories on his website carprousa.com. One story talks about Understanding Your Vehicles Factory Warranty, where Jerry says most people don't know the difference between manufacturer and dealer warranties. Another story talks about the ongoing chip shortage and how it is causing incentives to go down. Yet another story talks about not trusting your "miles to empty" gauge. And finally, a story about school being back in session.
