Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, a story on a car fire that couldn't be put out, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2021 Buick Envision Sport Touring, an SUV that he was surprised to find he quite enjoyed. This model is technically a compact SUV, but Jerry said that it is closer to a mid-sized SUV, and that if you don't want something too big or too small, that this could fit just right in the middle. Reynolds also said that the car is good quality and is built well, despite being built in China. The Envision has a 4 cylinder 2 liter engine with turbos that puts out 285 horses, and gets about 31-32 miles to the gallon on the highway. The car also has a nice interior, a lot of cargo area, lots of cool features, and comes with all you could want inside, leading Jerry to say that it is not quite a luxury SUV, but is pretty close. The 2021 Buick Envision Sport Touring has a price of $41,000.

Reynolds also talked about an upcoming story on his website carprousa.com where two men attempted to show off a Tesla's self driving feature. The men sat in the passenger seat and the back seat, leaving the driver seat completely empty, and causing the car to crash into a tree. The car's lithium battery then made it difficult to put out the resulting fire from the crash, with the fire fighters having to use 32,000 gallons of water to finally stop the fire.
