Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Matt and Dave to talk about his test drive of the week in the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport, a reduction in fatal car accidents, as well as other auto industry news.

Jerry started the discussion by saying that he has not always been the biggest Volkswagen fan, but that this car has been an exception.

I'll tell you, from the minute I got behind the wheel of the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport, I went wow this is really nice.

Reynolds has been very impressed with this model. He explained that since this car came out in 2018, that it has been a 3 row SUV, however, this model is not. It is only a 5 passenger car. Despite this, the car retained the same size. This means that the car has massive cargo room, as well as plenty of head and leg room. The car also has good fuel economy, a v6 engine that gets 296 horses, a leather interior, comes fully loaded up, and has 4 wheel drive that handles well with a smooth ride. The car has a window sticker price of $45,200, which Jerry thinks is quite low.

I think for 45 grand, this thing will make a lot of sense to a lot of people, especially if they drive it, because it handles really well.
