The Car Pro Test Drives the 2020 Mercedes AMG GLC 63 SUV

Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, the new Chevy engines, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds was test driving the 2020 Mercedes AMG GLC 63 SUV. Reynolds started the discussion by saying that the fun part of the car is what is under its hood. The car has a 4 liter v8 engine with 2 turbos, is hand built in Germany, as is every Mercedes AMG engine is, and is signed by the engineer who built it. The car has 469 horses and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. It is not super big, and is easy to drive, but is a bit pricey compared to other options at $83,000. Jerry doesn't believe that this car is for everyone, but did say,

This is a hot rod that could also masquerade as a family SUV.

The car also has some unique features such as automatic stopping to avoid collision, blind spot monitoring, lane monitoring, and a device that watches your eyes, and if it believes that you are drowsy, will ask if you want a break.
