Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Matt and Dave to talk about his test drive of the week, popular pickup and SUV inventory shortages, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2020 Lexus RX350. Jerry started the discussion by saying,

This is the most popular luxury SUV sold in America, and it has been for a lot of years. And there's a lot of reasons for it. I mean, it's a Lexus.

Jerry explained that people who have driven the Lexus RX350 have a lot of loyalty to it, and when looking for a new car, often come back to the RX350. Lexus does not typically talk about big rebates, or 0% financing, but instead they push the lowering of lease payments, and Jerry said that the reason is because the majority of people who get this model, lease it every few years.

The car has a 3.5 liter v6 engine with plenty of power, is well build, drives well, is quiet inside, and has nice attention to detail in the interior. It also has both a luxury mode, as well as a sport mode that has better handling and more acceleration. "This thing really performs well," Jerry said, going on to say that he never gets tired of reviewing it. The car has a window sticker price of $61,000.
